Welcome Reception
Kick off the festival by joining fellow artists and Vancouver’s music industry representatives for an afternoon of connection and conversation. This reception also offers a chance to learn more about Jade Music Fest as a cultural initiative promoting Chinese-language and mother-tongue-based music, with highlights from the past year and a look ahead to the year to come.
Industry Speed Dating
This program is designed to foster meaningful connections among artists from different regions. Local music industry professionals and media from Vancouver are also invited to join, creating an open space for exchange and collaboration.
This year’s session includes artist introductions, small-group meetups, and open networking time at the end for deeper conversation. Come meet fellow creatives, share your journey, and build connections that may inspire future collaborations.

Free Songwriting Session
All JMF showcase artists are welcome to this low-pressure, free songwriting session designed to build connections and explore the musical space together. Piano, a drum kit, and one house guitar will be available, but we highly encourage you to bring your instrument of choice. Let’s create this safe, collaborative, and relaxed environment.

Lunar New Year 2026 Songwriting Session
Collaborate on the JMF 2026 Lunar New Year Song!
Join the annual JMF tradition and help us write the next original track. The finished song will be released on streaming platforms and linked on the special Lunar New Year Envelopes via a QR code. All JMF showcase artists are welcome to connect and create. Bring your instrument; we’ll have a piano, drums, and one guitar on-site.
