Suming舒米恩，台東都蘭部落阿美族創作歌手，作品多反應自我原民身份成長經驗，以及族群與文化在當代社會的發展現況。曾獲金曲獎、金馬獎及金音獎等肯定，過去也受邀到國外大型音樂和文化藝術節演出，吸收國外的經驗，回到都蘭舉辦以原住民族文化為主體的「阿米斯音樂節」。
近期作品大多以阿美族傳統吟唱為基礎發展的創作，藉由現代音樂編曲與製作方式，向阿美族傳統吟唱致敬，介紹給世界更多人認識。
Suming Rupi is an Amis singer-songwriter, actor, artist, dancer and music festival director from ‘Etolan Village in Taitung County, Taiwan. With major awards he has won, including Golden Melody Awards, Golden Horse Film Awards, and Golden Indie Music Awards, are not just a testament to the recognition that Suming has achieved in the music industry, but are also a reflection of the development of his own life experience as indigenous people in the context of contemporary society.
Today, Suming’s bringing his music inspired by the traditional Amis chanting to attract more and more people to get to know it by the arrangement and production of music industry nowadays.
