Enno Cheng
Enno Cheng, a singer-songwriter, actress and writer, has released four albums, Neptune, Pluto, Dear Uranus, and Mercury Retrograde, since her debut in 2007. Formerly one of the members of two Taiwanese indie bands, Chocolate Tiger and Felix Felicis. She has been invited to perform internationally, such as SXSW, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Her solo concert at Taipei Music Center in 2022 was a sold-out show of 5000.
Mercury Retrograde marks Enno’s new body of work in 2022. It is written entirely in Taiwanese
in collaboration with producer Chunho. The album encompasses multiple influences; electronic and rock with a foundation of folklore, creating an innovative genre of Taiwanese Hokkien music. The album won her Best Taiwanese Album and Best Taiwanese Female Singer at the 34th Golden Melody Awards.
