Scope is a Canadian born Chinese rapper and producer based out of Vancouver. With a gritty flow and a sci-fi futuristic aesthetic, the Vancouver rapper fuses Hip-Hop, experimental, trap and boom bap elements through his music, along with high energy performances and stylized visuals. Having spent a decade pursuing Hip-Hop music as a rapper and producer, he has been serving as a catalyst in the city as well, operating a music mentorship program for young and upcoming Asian artists. Having executive produced the documentary TRAILBLAZN, premiering at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival in 2021, Scope is also moving into the film world and progressing the Asian Canadian landscape on screen.
Jade Music Fest is grateful to be held on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish Nation), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation). We acknowledge our privilege to operate on these lands, and commit to work with and be respectful to the Indigenous peoples whose music and culture encourages us to better listen to each other.
